BopBox Privacy Policy
BopBox is designed for children and families. We do not collect personal information or recordings through the app.
What happens on your device
If you allow microphone access, BopBox records only while you deliberately hold a pad. You can also select a video from your photo library to use part of its audio. The app processes these sounds on your device and keeps your original recordings, edited sounds, kits, and loops in its local app storage.
BopBox does not create an account, show ads, use analytics or tracking, or send these sounds or other app data to Others Oriented LLC or a third party. The system photo picker gives BopBox access only to media you select. You can use the built-in sounds without granting microphone or photo access.
Sharing and backups
When you choose to export and share a WAV file, the iOS share sheet lets you decide where it goes. The destination you choose may have its own privacy practices. BopBox does not share recordings automatically.
Apple's normal device or iCloud backup settings may include local app data. Others Oriented LLC does not operate those backups. Review your device backup settings if you want to change how Apple backs up your data.
Retention and deletion
Recordings and kits remain on your device until you delete a kit or the app. Deleting a kit removes that kit and its recordings from BopBox. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device; a device backup may retain a copy according to your Apple backup settings. Export anything you want to keep before deleting it.
Because Others Oriented LLC does not receive app recordings or personal information, we cannot access, recover, or delete a family's local sounds remotely. See Privacy choices for device controls.
This website and contacting us
These informational pages use no account, form, advertising, or analytics. The hosting provider may process ordinary request details such as an IP address to deliver the pages and protect the service. If a grown-up emails support, we use their message and address to respond and retain correspondence as needed to handle the request.
For a privacy question or request about information you sent to us directly, email support@othersoriented.com. Please do not email a child's recording or personal details unless necessary for your request.
